Product Condition Guide
We strive to provide accurate single card grading to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. We understand that grading can be subjective on a personal level, so here is a guide to help you understand our criteria.
Please note that we do not guarantee any Gem Mint cards due to the sheer volume of cards handled daily.
Should you not be satisfied with the condition of cards you have received from us, please let us know right away and we will make sure you are taken care of to the best of our ability.
Near Mint
Near Mint cards may have minor imperfections and these will be few in number. These cards can range from 'Mint' to Near Mint. These cards are both ideal for collectors and will be in excellent shape for adding to decks for tournament play.
- Light minor edge wear
- Minor scratch or scuff
- Other minor imperfection
Too many of these imperfections will cause a card to be graded Played and rejected from Buylists.
Played
Played cards will have more noticeable or more imperfections but should still be tournament legal in sleeves. These flaws can include but are not limited to:
- Edgewear / Corner wear
- Scuffing
- Warping
- Moderate nicks or dings
- Impressions
- A very minor crease
*Note We do not buy cards that fall under this condition.
Too many of these imperfections will cause a card to be graded Damaged.
Damaged
Damaged cards will have even more noticeable imperfections or severe flaws, these cards are likely not to be legal for tournament play. These flaws can include but are not limited to:
- Larger or more abundant creases
- Severe scratches
- Water damage
- Writing, ink markings
- Peeling or splitting sides/corners
- Cuts, tears or other structurally compromising flaws
